Embarking on one of the most challenging yet profoundly rewarding treks, our journey spans over a hundred kilometers, traversing the Biafo and Hispar Glaciers. These vast glacial systems in the heart of the Central Karakoram have long presented explorers with formidable challenges, dating back to the 1930s when Eric Shipton pioneered a route over the Karakoram watershed to the Shaksgam Valley in Xinjiang.

Our trek embodies the pioneering spirit of those early explorers as we traverse the Biafo and Hispar glaciers, delving into the rugged heart of the Inner Karakoram. Beginning in Askole, we initially follow the early stages of the K2 trek before veering off towards the Biafo Glacier.

The route promises awe-inspiring vistas of iconic peaks such as Ogre and Latoks, along with countless unclimbed summits, as we navigate the expansive and dynamic terrain of cracking glaciers. Amidst this pristine wilderness, we will undoubtedly find ourselves captivated by the raw beauty and untamed grandeur of the Karakoram.
