South Julipur Peak (5206m) stands as one of the easiest trekking peaks in the Pakistan Himalaya, attracting trekkers seeking a manageable yet rewarding climbing experience. Situated west of the Raikot Glacier and south of the Khusto (Jalipur) Pass (4837m), this peak offers stunning views and relatively straightforward ascent and descent routes.

The journey to South Julipur Peak typically begins with a trek along the Jalipur stream, leading trekkers to a campsite located below the Khusto Pass. This first day of trekking involves approximately 3-4 hours of hiking, providing ample time to soak in the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

On the second day, climbers ascend towards the summit, following a ridge route across the glacier. This portion of the trek requires around 3-4 hours to reach the summit, where adventurers are rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.

After reaching the summit, climbers return to the high camp for a well-deserved rest before beginning their descent. The descent typically takes place on the same day, with trekkers making their way back to Beyal, completing the journey and reflecting on their unforgettable experience on South Julipur Peak.

With its manageable ascent and descent routes and stunning mountain vistas, South Julipur Peak offers trekkers an opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Pakistan Himalaya while experiencing the thrill of reaching a summit in this awe-inspiring region.
