Optional routes to Broad Peak Base Camp and the Biafo Hispar La trek unveil even more breathtaking vistas. Descend along the mighty Baltoro Glacier, surrounded by dramatic mountain panoramas, before returning to Islamabad. Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport, you’ll be transferred to a hotel in Rawalpindi/Islamabad. Meet your guide in the afternoon for a trip briefing and gear check.
Weather permitting, take a scenic flight to Skardu and check into a hotel. Otherwise, embark on a picturesque drive to Chilas, along the Karakoram Highway. Overnight in Skardu or Chilas.
Continue the journey to Skardu or from Chilas to Skardu, depending on previous day’s travel. Explore Skardu town or visit Kachura Lake if time permits. Overnight in Skardu.
Travel by jeep to Askole, passing through the Shigar and Braldu valleys. Experience the rugged terrain and cross suspension bridges over rivers. Camp overnight in Askole.
Start trekking towards Jula, crossing the Biafo Glacier’s snout and enjoying views of the surrounding mountains. Camp overnight near the Braldu River.
Continue trekking along the riverside, passing by the Masherbrum Group and enjoying views of Trango and Uli Biaho peaks. Camp overnight in Payu.
Take a day to rest and prepare for the journey ahead. Enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings and take in the mountain scenery.
Trek to Khoburche, encountering ice cliffs and panoramic views of Paiju Peak and other surrounding peaks. Camp overnight in Khoburche.
Continue trekking along the Baltoro Glacier, passing feeding glaciers and enjoying views of Great Trango. Camp overnight in Urdukas.
Descend onto the glacier and trek towards Goro II, passing Crystal and Marble Peaks. Camp overnight at Goro II.
Trek into Concordia and enjoy breathtaking views of K2 (weather permitting) and surrounding peaks. Camp overnight in Concordia.
Optional visit to Broad Peak Base Camp and K2 Base Camp for stunning views. Return to Concordia for overnight camping.
Descend to Shachspong (Goro) and camp overnight.
Continue descent along the Baltoro Glacier, enjoying views of Biale Peak. Camp overnight in Khoburche.
Cross the Baltoro and trek back to Paiju. Camp overnight in Payu.
Trek to Korofon via the Panma Valley and bridge across its tributary. Camp overnight in Korofon
Trek to Askole, where you’ll bid farewell to the porters. Camp overnight in Askole
Drive back to Skardu through the Shigar Valley. Enjoy the afternoon exploring Skardu town. Overnight in Skardu.
Weather permitting, fly back to Islamabad and transfer to the hotel. Otherwise, drive to Chilas and overnight there.
Complete the journey back to Islamabad or use this day as a contingency for any delays.
After breakfast, transfer to Islamabad International Airport for departure.
